Backstage Pass
are looking for volunteer crew who would be available to work for 3-hours at the Champs.
Male or female, but you have to be a dancer and available from 12 noon until 8pm on Bank Holiday Sunday.
You will be helping for 30 min to 1hr shifts totalling no more than 3 hours spread across the day (we anticipate 2 hours). Shifts will be allocated at the event.
You must not be taking part in any competitions as you need to be available to work.
You need to be at the venue for the full duration of the time stipulated above.
When not working you will be free to watch the competitions, socialise with the crowd and enjoy the freestyle. You will, of course, receive free entry to the entire event in return for your assistance.
We have a limited requirement, and anticipate a lot of interest. Therefore, if you do not hear back, apologies for the lack of response, but the positions have been filled.
Please complete the form below to register your interest.
So what do you need to do?
You will be allocated one of 2 roles on the day.
1. Freestyling in the Forum Freestyle Room. When big competitions are running in the main hall, this room can get very quiet. We want a few 'Taxi Dancers' to position themselves in the forum, dance with the non-competing attendees and encourage more of a party atmosphere.
2. Manning the external doors. There are three doors on the right hand side of the main hall (clearly signposted Door 1, Door 2 and Door 3), which need to be manned throughout the day.
